An Interview With Ms Vaishali

What did you want to be when you were our age?

My dream was to see the world, so I wanted to be a pilot or an air hostess…. And to watch the world from a bird’s eye view!

What was your favourite and least favourite subject?

Using my imagination and creativity through art and craft and putting my problem-solving skills to use during Math.

The languages did not fascinate me as much.

Did you like going to school?

School was not as enjoyable as I would have wanted it to be because I was a shy student and also social interaction was limited.

What is your fondest memory as a teacher in BIS?

BIS made many a dull day much brighter through numerous hilarious incidents.

My fondest memory was of the outside classroom of pre-primary which was open to nature, and I thoroughly enjoyed taking my classes there.

Do you have any unexpected fears? Maybe it’s common… but most definitely losing those who I value in my life (family/friends).

What’s your favourite book, movie, and song? I am a fan of the old classic and cult… Book- Gone with the Wind Movie- The Sound of Music, Andaz Apna Apna, Golmaal series, Kohinoor, Chupke Chupke- Any hilarious Hindi movie Song – Words by Boyzone

… just to list a few. Why do you enjoy teaching? Making the learning process enjoyable for my students, where each one takes ownership of his/her learning.
